What a leaf net does
A leaf net goes on top of your winter cover, not instead of it. The fine mesh catches leaves and twigs while rain and melt water drain straight through. Once the trees are bare you pull the net off and the leaves come with it — instead of wrestling a winter cover loaded with wet leaves in the spring. Keeping that weight off the cover helps the cover last longer too.
