Pool Delivery Details
WE CURRENTLY SHIP TO NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY ONLY
Pools are too large to be shipped via UPS, Fedex or USPS. Pools are shipped on a pallet (or pallets) through a professional freight carrier, the delivery address must be tractor/trailer accessible or additional charges will apply. Due to high ticket value, if paying by credit card or Paypal, the specified delivery address must match your credit card billing address for your protection and ours. The freight carrier will contact you 12-48 hours prior to delivery to arrange a delivery time. Please provide accurate daytime and evening contact numbers during checkout. You must be home to sign for and receive the delivery. You will be required to assist in moving the packages from the truck at the time of delivery. Truck drivers are not responsible for moving cartons to the desired location.
Unfortunately we cannot ship to remote areas not in close proximity to areas commonly serviced by freight carriers, islands, addresses given as rural routes, APO/FPO addresses or P.O. Boxes. We reserve the right to decline orders for which we determine that delivery is impractical. If you have a special shipping situation, please email us or call us at 718-605-9600.
Returned items are subject to a twenty percent restocking charge and all shipping charges.
Orders refused at time of receipt are subject to a twenty percent restocking charge and all shipping charges. Customer shall be responsible for all freight charges associated with cancelled orders. "Free delivery" or "free shipping" means that the actual freight costs are included in the purchase price of completed sales at no extra charge.
Freight Damage
In the event of freight damage, any freight-damaged product must be reported to Staten Island Pool and Spa within 7 days of receiving your shipment. Staten Island Pool and Spa is unable to issue a refund or eschange merchandise If freight damage is reported after 7 days of receiving your shipment, Please open and inspect your packages upon receipt. If freight damage is apparent, you must open the packaging in the presence of the carrier to examine the product. If you find that the product is damaged, this is the time at which you can refuse your shipment. Please note that Staten Island Pool and Spa will replace the damaged item once the freight claim has been awarded by the freight carrier. This may take as long as 30 – 60 days.
Building Code Disclaimer
Note: Your local building code may require a permit for installation of an above ground pool and that a barrier is installed around the pool. Before installing, please contact your local building inspector for more information about applicable requirements.
Safety Information
Remember – Shallow Water – No jumping or diving into an above ground pool. The use of a slide is not recommended with an above ground pool. Do not swim under, through or around your entry ladder. Remember to provide a safety briefing for guests visiting and using an above ground pool. Always provide adult supervision for children using your pool.
Note: Your local township may require a pool alarm for an above ground swimming pool. Please contact your local township for more information about applicable requirements.

Pool Sizing Information
Above ground pools generally require about two feet of additional space for installation, please check that you have enough room
to install the size pool that you have purchased.
Oval pools require approximately 3 feet of additional space on the 'straight side'.
For example, if you are installing a 15' x 24' oval, you would need an additional 2 feet of space on the 24' long side for a total of 28 feet (24+2+2), and an additional 3 feet of space on the 15' side for a total of 21' (15+3+3).

When replacing an existing pool, the same sized pool usually does not fit in an existing deck. Please call for details.
